Applications are invited for JRF position for the Project under Core Research Grant of Science Engineering Research Board.

Title of Project

Execution of a Common Approach for Current Sensor Fault-Tolerant Control of Induction Motor Drives in Different Control Regimes

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with first class, ME/M.Tech. having specialization in Electrical Machines and/or Electrical Drives and/or Power Electronics or in related field with first class.

Desirable Qualification

Valid Gate Score. Candidates having prior knowledge in the relevant research area with good experimentation skill will be preferred.

Age and Relaxation (if any)

The upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates is as per GOI rules.

Fellowship

Rs. 31,000/- for 1st and 2nd year. Rs. 35,000/ for 3rd year.

Tenure

03 years.

Job Description

The objective of the project work is to design, develop and validate an observer for current sensor fault-tolerant control of IM drive capable of operating in three different control regimes such as field oriented control, direct torque control and finite-control-set-model predictive control. The work involves analytical development, simulation study and experimental work.
