Chenab Valley Power Projects [P] Limited (CVPPPL), a Joint Venture Company among NHPC (AGovt. of India Enterprise)(49%), JKSPDC (AGovt. of J&K Undertaking)(49%), and PTC India Ltd. (2%), formed at the initiative of Government of J&K and Government of India to harness the vast hydro potential of river Chenab was incorporated on 13.06.2011 with an authorised share capital of Rs. 3500 crores as on date.

CVPPPL has been entrusted with execution of Pakal Dul, Kiru, Kwar and Dul Hasti (Stage-II) Hydroelectric Projects in Chenab River Basin, Distt. Kishtwar (J&K) with an aggregate capacity of 2714 MW. The Company intends to recruit 45 Trainee Engineers (Civil) for its Project sites through GATE-2020in 03-phases. However,in the first Phase, recruitment shall be made for 20 vacancies.

Pay Scale

Rs. 40000-3%-140000 (IDA)

Minimum Qualification

Full time Regular BE / B. Tech / B. Sc. (Engineering) in Civil from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Age Limit

The age of a candidate for applying for the above mentioned post should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 31.12.2019.
