Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow at the School of Life Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

Project Title

Elucidating the role of NbUBC2 and NbHUB1 of the histone mono-ubiquitination machinery in geminivirus pathogenesis.

Qualifications
  • Eligible candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant Molecular Biology/ and CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR-JRF or NET qualified.
  • Candidates having research experience in the area of Epigenetics / DNA-protein interactions / Host-virus interaction/ any other areas of Plant Virology will be preferred.
Salary

Rs. 31000/- plus HRA (as per DST rules and guidelines for JRF).

Duration

The Project will continue till March 2022. The above-mentioned position is completely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The appointed person will be expected to stay in the lab for the entire period of the project.
