Indian School of Public Policy [ISPP] was conceived as the first school of public policy focused on the design and management of institutions and rules that govern society. It has been set up by an eminent council of senior academicians, policy experts, administrators and philanthropists with a vision to develop a new class of policy leaders for India and the region. It is designed as a year-long postgraduate programme in Public Policy, Design & Management.

Founded on the commitment to world-class faculty, extensive industry linkages and innovative approach towards design and management of policy, Indian School of Public Policy aims to transform the art of policymaking. The institution reimagines the approach towards public policy pedagogy, research and practice.

Details of the Course

Indian School of Public Policy trains its scholars to be leaders for policy action. Our scholars not only undergo a comprehensive academic programme in Public Policy but are also rigorously trained in management, communication and leadership skills. The one-year academic session is divided into 8 terms of 6 weeks each.

Academics at the Indian School of Public Policy is designed on skills, ethics and leadership to nurture masters of theory and practice, with the objective of impacting change. The curriculum integrates classroom learning, skill-building, application and leadership and management training consisting of foundation, core and supporting courses.

Eligibility

Indian School of Public Policy’s year-long programme in Public Policy, Design & Management is open to any individual who holds an undergraduate degree from Indian/foreign universities, regardless of discipline. While work experience in relevant domains is preferred, exceptional candidates without any formal experience would be considered. Numerical and language proficiency are desired qualifications in a successful applicant.

To apply, applicants must register first and complete the Indian School of Public Policy’s admissions form after receiving a custom username and password.

  • The campus is located at the heart of the nation’s capital overlooking the picturesque urban forest ‘Sanjay Van’ and the Qutub Minar.
Registration Procedure

To apply, prospective applicants must register first and apply using the customised username and password sent to them. Applicants would then need to follow the instructions on Indian School of Public Policy’s applications portal. Candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. The brochure will be sent to you along with the username and password.

  • Register at admissions.ispp.org.in.
  • Fill out the application form which includes your personal, academic and professional credentials along with a statement of purpose (explaining why you want to attend a programme in public policy and why you want to pursue this programme at Indian School of Public Policy) and the details of your recommender.
  • Applicants will need to take a quantitative and qualitative test + write a 300 word essay.
  • Those who clear this round will be invited to participate in the group discussion and personal interview.
  • Successful applicants will receive acceptance letters.
Fee Details 
  • The fee is INR 8,00,000/- which includes the tuition cost of the programme. A GST of 18% will be applicable on this amount.
