The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata is inviting applications for the recruitment of Two (02) Project linked Junior Research Fellow purely on a temporary basis to work in the project titled “Distributed Cognitive System for Healthcare”.
Indian Statistical Institute is a public research university that is recognized as an institute of national importance in the 1959 act of the Indian parliament. It grew out of the Statistical Laboratory set up by Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in Presidency College, Kolkata.
- M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering/ Information Technology or M.Sc. in Statistics Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science.
- Good knowledge in Computer Programming (C/ C++/ Java).
- All through First Class.
Candidates having higher qualification and relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates appearing for the final year of required degree may also apply given they can produce their relevant maintaining certificates by 30 September 2020.
The age limit is 35 years as on 01 August 2020, with usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and differently-abled candidates. Age relaxation may be given to Outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Pay of Rs. 31000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) plus HRA as per rules of the Institute.
The appointment will be initially for one year from the date of his/ her joining the Institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidates.
