The Government of Karnataka invites young Post Graduate students/ research scholars to work as interns with the Govt to tackle problems and challenges that emerged in Karnataka in the context of COVID -19 by providing support for data analysis and evidence-based policy inputs.
The internship program has been introduced in various departments of the Government and at Zilla Panchayat and Deputy Commissioners’ offices in the district.
This is an opportunity for young minds, Research, and academic institutions to contribute to the noble cause through, GSR in kind and thus achieve’ Sab ka Saath Sab ka Vikas’.
The applicant should be a Post graduate/ Research Scholar from any recognized University/ Academic/ Research Institution within India or abroad.
Students with a good academic record with the background of Development Studies/ Management/ Data Science and Data Analytics/ Health Management/ Social Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Economics and any other relevant disciplines can apply for it.
Selected Interns will be working remotely on the assignment given to them for a period of six to eight weeks. They will be given a certificate for their valuable contribution. The internship is on an unpaid basis, but the students will have an opportunity to work with top-level Govt. officers/ eminent researchers and academicians.
