Applications are invited for Internship Opportunity (Gender Equality) at UNDP, New Delhi for the year 2022. The last date of application is 14 June.
The intern-Gender Equality will support processes for gender mainstreaming and Gender Seal currently being implemented by working closely with the Gender Officer and the Gender Focal Team.
Eligibility
Qualification: University Degree must be in Humanities in fields like gender studies; sociology or political science from a recognised University.
SkillsÂ
- Experience in conducting desk reviews; development of tools using online applications and analysis of data
- Ability to develop succinct documents including first drafts of technical briefs; power points and reports
- Digital skills to design communication products
- Good organizing skills to convene meetings; workshops and maintain record of meetings
- Good command in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as handling web-based applications like google form; kobo etc

Responsibilities
Prime responsibilities of the intern including reporting lines.
- Support the Gender Officer in coordinating the implementation, monitoring and progress review of CO Gender Equality Strategy and Action Plan collectively as the Gender Focal Team (GFT)
- Support the Gender Focal Team in implementing the recommendations of the Gender Seal, an accreditation process that the Country Office has undertaken by providing coordination and administrative support
- Support the GFT and the Gender Officer to organize, document and follow up on actions for the GFT including evidence and knowledge curation to support the Gender Seal requirements
- Undertake desk reviews to support preparation of documents; develop first drafts for finalization including development of online survey tools
- Support the Gender Focal Team in organizing capacity building sessions on gender and gender mainstreaming for the Country Office  Â
- Support the UNDP Taskforce on Protection from Sexual Exploitation; Abuse and Harassment; (PSEAH) to meet regularly; maintain minutes and provide support to meet its deliverables and mandate.
