UNDP (Union Nations Development Programme) invites applications for internship opportunities at Guwahati and Goa locations for the year 2020.

Intern (2 Seats)

Education: Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: Be enrolled in a gradute or postgraduate degree programme (such as a Bachelor’s, or higher); Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation; Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.

Essential:- Candidates with graduate degree in Social Work, Business Management, Economics, Social Sciences or related field OR enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);

Skills: Experience in data collection and analysis in the field of social or economic development fields; Strong commitment to promoting gender equality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Good command in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as handling web-based applications.

The monthly internship stipend (full time) is INR 12,404/- per month

How to apply: The application should contain- The completed “Internship Intern Form” available on the UNDP India website at Internship Intern Form. CV in English on or before 8 Aug 2020.

Duration: 2 months

UNDP Intern at Panaji (Goa).

Communication Intern

Education:  The candidate should be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Graphic Design/ Mass Media/ Development Studies/ Social Sciences, or relevant fields is preferred.

Skills: Excellent graphic designing skills. Proficient in using software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent software etc. Excellent content writing skills. Basic understanding of issues pertaining to the development sector, skilling ecosystem/ enterprise development, value chain development. Social media management understanding. Prior experience in the development sector in the North-East and working with beneficiaries at the grass-root level is a preference.

How to apply: The completed “Internship Intern Form” available on the UNDP India website at Internship Intern Form should be completed along with the CV in English on or before 7 Aug 2020.

Duration: 6 Months
