AMU International ConclaveThe International Conclave being organized by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and the Royal University of Bhutan seeks to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between India and Bhutan.

About the Conclave:

The event aspires to create awareness about the importance of Indo-Bhutan relations and deliberate on strengthening the economic situation in the two countries. The organizers believe that entrepreneurship is a building block of economic activities in the region. Henceforth, the theme on which international delegates will deliberate has been kept as ‘START-UP TO SCALE UP: Management & Policy Interventions’.
In order to facilitate the learning component, a two days pre conference workshop will be held revolving around research methodology, keeping in the mind the research areas benefitting the two nations.
The proposed celebration week is divided in three parts:

  • International Workshop: April 3-4.
  • International Symposium on Indo-Bhutan relations: April 5.
  • International Conference: April 6-7.

As a part of the India-Canada collaborative research project funded by the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, a special session on Gender Diversity will be held on 5 April 2019 during the International Symposium at Aligarh Muslim University, India.
Participants will discuss various issues around Gender Diversity in corporate sectors and management education.

The need for entrepreneurship and new business start-ups for a developing economy is indispensable. There is a growing recognition among different stakeholders – entrepreneurs, investors, employees, policymakers, and government – that building an ecosystem to facilitate start-ups requires concerted and coordinated holistic effort.
