Indian Navy invites unmarried men and women to join the Indian Navy as Short Service Commission Officer as Pilot/Observer/Air Traffic Controller for the course commencing July 2018 at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.
Candidates must fulfill condition of nationality as laid down by the Govt. of India.
- ATC (5 vacancies): Born Between Jul 02, 1993 and July 01, 1997. Male/Female
- Observer (4 vacancies): Born between 02 July, 1994 and 01 July 1999. Male/Female.
- Pilot (8 vacancies, max 2 for female): Born between 02 July, 1994 and 01 July, 1999.
Candidates who have passed Engineering or are in the final year of engineering course in any discipline from a recognised university/educational institution with at least 60% marks till 5th/7th semester in regular/integrated courses.
For ATC, additionally the candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class XII.
Candidates who are in the final year will be required to pass the final B.E/B.Tech exam with minimum 60%. Candidates failing to meet minimum percentage will not be allowed to join INA, Ezhimala.
Short Service Commission
For Pilot and Observer, SSC is granted for a term of 14 years. No extension will be given beyond 14 years.
For ATC, SSC is granted initially for 10 years extendable by maximum 4 years subject to service requirements, medical eligibility, performance and willingness of candidates. No extension will be given beyond 14 years.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled from Dec 17 to March 18 at Bangalore for Pilot/Observer and at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam for ATC.
Change of interview centre is not permissible.
Return first class rail fare is admissible for interview if appearing for the first time on production of the ticket.
