Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a walk-in-interview for two posts of JRF/ Project Associate-I in a District Disaster Management Authority Mandi funded project (IITM/DDMA-M/VD/325) at IIT Mandi.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is an autonomous engineering and technology university located in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. IIT Mandi’s permanent campus is fully functional at Kamand and Salgi Mandi. Timothy A. Gonsalves was the first Director of IIT Mandi and R. C. Sawhney served as the first Registrar.
Development of low-cost landslide monitoring and warning system. In this project, they intend to develop low-cost landslide monitoring and early warning system. They also intend to deploy the developed landslide monitoring system in the landslide-affected areas in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, India.
JRF/ Project Associate (02)
- B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MS/ MS (By Research) in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering and related areas with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Experience in machine learning, Python and C/ C++ programming, and the internet of things (IoT) is a must for this position.
- Experience in machine learning, IoT applications, publications, PCB design, and good command of the English language.
Maximum up to INR 35,000
1-year, and extendable to a maximum of 3 years based on performance
