Online applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project sanctioned by DST, Government of India at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi or IIT Mandi is located at an average altitude of 3000 feet above sea level in the scenic forested Himalayan mountains along the banks of the river Uhl, a tributary of River Beas. IIT Mandi is an autonomous premier engineering and technology institute located in Kamand valley, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The institute was established in 2009 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Project Title
Livelihood generation and improvement for women entrepreneurs in small scale fruits and vegetable farming and post-harvesting management.

Qualifications
- For Project Associate: B.Tech/ M.Sc./ M.C.A./ M.B.A./ M.A. or equivalent.
- For Project Assistant: 3 year Engg. Diploma or B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com./ B.B.A or High school +ITI+ at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Research Associate Under DST-SERB at IOPB, Bhubaneswar: Apply by Feb 20.
Salary
- For Project Associate: Rs. 31,000/- PM
- For Project Assistant: Rs. 22,000/- PM
Duration
The initial appointment will be for a period of one year and can be extended up to the duration of the project subject to the performance of the candidate.

The original certificate must be shown at the time of the interview. No TA/ DA will be paid to the applicant. The nature of the post is purely temporary (on a contract basis). The candidate should be ready to be deputed at the project commencement site if needed. There is no provision for separate HRA. If the candidate satisfies IIT Mandi criteria for applying for Ph.D./ MS, this project supports that as per the institute guidelines subject to availability.
