Research Associate (Under DST Funded Project) at IIT Hyderabad: Apply by Dec 30

Applications are invited for the Research Associate (RA) position (one) to work in a purely time-bound research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology Nano mission.
Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (abbreviated IIT Hyderabad or IITH) is a public technical and research university located in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India. IITH is known for its academic strength, research, publications, and proximity to IT and industrial hubs.
IITH was founded in 2008, among the eight young Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). It has 1,155 Undergraduate, 635 Masters, and 893 Ph.D. students with 222 full-time faculties.

Project Title

Tuning of magnetic skyrmionics spin structure in ferrimagnetic nanostructure for data storage application.

Qualifications
  1. Ph.D (Physics/ Material Science) from reputed institute/ university with good track record of publication.
  2. Good knowledge of condensed matter physics, experimental skillsspecially in magnetic thin film preparation, magnetic characterization, data analysis proficiency (Programming, Image Analysis etc.) along with good communication skills.
  3. Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application.

Salary

Rs. 47,000 + 24% HRA. Initial position is for 1 year which can be extended depending on performance of the candidate and availability of funding.
