IIT Dhanbad’s Training on Environmental Clearance Procedures and Impact Assessment for Mining Projects [Kolkata, June 7-11]: Register by May 15: Expired

Mining contributes about 2.2 to 2.5% of GDP and is vital for the economic growth of the country. The organized mining sector employs nearly 0.7 million people. Small scale mining approximately contributes to 6% of the total value of mineral production.

Mining activities though temporary in nature but associated with various social and environmental problems. EIA Notification 2006 envisages proper identification assessment and mitigation of social and environmental problems of mining industry.

Training program on Environmental Clearance Procedures and Impact Assessment for Mining Projects is organized to bring all the stakeholders & regulators under one roof to understand Environmental Clearance Process.

Industry officials, Executives engaged in environmental management, planning, maintenance, Mining Personals, Academician, Scientist, Students & Research Scholars, NGO and interested persons etc.

Course Fee

  • INR 25000 (for Indian Nationals)
  • INR 8000 (for Students & Research Scholars of Indian Nationals)

The above fee are per participant inclusive of service taxes. This will include course materials, tea& snacks and working lunch. The participants have to make their own lodging arrangement at Kolkata.
