Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is inviting interested and highly motivated hard working candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound research project for a temporary period purely on contractual basis to appear for Walk-in-Interview. Appointment shall be on contractual basis on consolidated pay renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

M.Sc./B. Tech. in relevant discipline with NET/GATE* or M.Tech. in relevant discipline with NET/GATE* qualification. First class (minimum 60%) is required in the qualifying degree. Experience related to atmospheric modeling, handling of large atmosphere- ocean data, and programming skill in Matlab/Python/NCL are desirable.
*The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
