Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow in the research project entitled “Photolabile Protected Monosaccharides: Synthesis and Application to Oligosaccharides Synthesis Using a Continuous Flow Photoreactor” sponsored by DST-Max-Planck Partner Group.

The Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi is a public technical and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College, it became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968.

Post-Doctoral Fellow (01)

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. (submitted or Awarded) in Carbohydrate synthesis/ Organic synthesis.
  • Experience in Synthetic Carbohydrate Chemistry.
  • Age Limit: 32 years. Age relaxation applicable as per the Government of India (GoI) rules.
Fellowship

Rs. 47,000/- month (consolidated)

Tenure

The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project.
