The Short Term Course on Fixed Point Theory and Dynamical Systems is scheduled at Dept. of Mathematical Sciences, IIT (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi during June 19 – July 1, 2017 under the aegis of the QIP cell of Indian Institute of Technology (BHU).
This course is aimed at providing an opportunity to young faculty of Engineering Colleges of India under AICTE and other colleges and universities to the theoretical aspects and real life practical experience of world level experts in the field of functional analysis, fixed point theory & dynamical systems and present their work.
The objective of the short term course is to motivate and equip the participants with the basics as well as the recent state-of-art of functional analysis and fixed point theory as well as to expose the young talents with the applications in the area of dynamical systems so to model the real life problems in engineering, medical and social sciences & other related disciplines and take up various emerging challenges of the present day to day societal problems for their acceptable modeling and solutions thereafter.

Note: The registration fee to be paid online to the STCFPTDS 2017 account, which will be informed to the applicants at an appropriate time. This fee includes a kit containing the study material, souvenir, workshop lunch, tea & snacks.
There is no registration fee for teachers of AICTE approved Engg. Colleges, however the selected participants will be required to deposit a seat advance of Rs.2000, which will be returned on successful course attending.

Invitation to selected participants by June 7, 2017. Institute faculty can apply by June 15, 2017.
Accommodation: Accommodation and local hospitality will be provided in the institute guest house free of charges to the AICTE approved college teachers/Govt or sponsored persons and for others on partial charges if required.
