IICER augmented reality workshopA two-day workshop is being conducted on Augmented Reality in Pune on June 22 and 23.

The workshop is being organized by IISER Pune, National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology (DST).

About the Workshop:

The workshop on Augmented Reality will be conducted by Swapnil Agarkar, CEO at EDU360 Knowledge Solutions Private Limited. This two days’ workshop will provide basic training in Augmented Reality.

Key highlights of the workshop:
  1. Introduction to AR/VR
  2. Set up the AR/VR Development environment
  3. Making of an AR/VR Android app

10:00 am – 5:00 pm


Science/ Engineering and Technology undergraduates and graduates who are passionately interested in learning Augmented reality and are looking forward to building their career in it.

Selection process:

Applying does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be selected for the workshop.

In addition to the basic eligibility above, we may use other criteria based on the received applications to shortlist candidates depending on the number and quality of applications received.


Selected participants will be provided double sharing accommodation and food, for the entire duration of the course.

Traveling allowance is not included.

Participants are expected to stay for the full duration of the program.

It is mandatory for all the participants to attend all sessions.
