JOB POST: Project Associate and Project Assistant @ Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Delhi: Walk-in Interview on May 8: Expired

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India is visualised as a Centre encompassing the study of all arts, especially in their dimension of interrelationship and mutual interdependence.

The IGNCA requires one position of Project Associate and one position of Project Assistant to work under various Publication projects for translations into Hindi of the Kalakosa Division.

Kalakosa Division investigates the intellectual traditions in their dimensions of multilayers and multi-disciplines. As a research and publication division it endeavours to place the arts within the integral framework of a cultural system, combining the textual with the oral, the visual with the aural, and theory with practices.

Project Associate

Name of position: Project Associate

Number of position: One position

Duration; One year

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- per month

Age limit: Not exceeding 50 years.

Work Profile: Project Associate will coordinate the projects and will be attached to a senior scholar. Will take responsibility in academic management, organizing meetings, reviews, workshops and seminar/conference and also update on the progress of projects.

Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Sanskrit/English/Mass communication from a recognized University. (Knowledge of Mass Communication and English will be given addition weightage)

Experience: Research experience or experience of coordinating programmes is desirable.

Project Assistant

Name of Position: Project Assistant

Number of Position: One

Duration: One year

Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years.

Work Profile: Project Assistant will assist in the coordination of the projects and will be attached to a senior scholar. Will take responsibility in academic management, organizing meetings, reviews, workshops and seminar/conference and also update on the progress of projects.

Education Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Sanskrit/English from a recognized University.

Experience: Research experience or experience of coordinating programmes is desirable.

Candidates are requested to fill in the prescribed form given below, supported by self attested copies of testimonials. Walk-in-interview will be held on 08.05.2017 at 2.00. p.m. in the IGNCA’s Board Room, No.11 Man Singh Road, New Delhi-110001.

Candidates are requested to report at 1.00 p.m. for verification of certificates and only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for interview.
