Applications are invited for ICCR International Film Making Competition 2022. The last date of submission is 31 March.
Friends of India, especially Indian Diaspora community and foreign students in India/ Alumni have been sharing their experience about India in various ways and through multiple media. ICCR considers them as India’s ambassadors of goodwill abroad. ICCR also views that it is important to capture and partake such reminiscences.
With a view to further strengthening these bonds, Indian Council for Cultural Relations is organising an “International Film Making Competition” collaboration with Routes2Roots, an international NGO engaged in promoting Indian art and culture. The event would be form part of the events being organized by ICCR
commemorating the“Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
The competition will invite short films made by participants from across the world in the categories of Indian Diaspora and Foreign Alumni of India on the following themes:
i) “Myroots, My ancestral”
ii)“Away from India: What do I miss the most?”
iii)“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: World as my family”
Foreign Alumni of India
i) “Learning in India, Learning from India”
ii)“India: My home away from home”
iii)“Indian Culture: Imprints on my mind”
The digital portal for submission of entries by the participants would be opened from 1 January to 31 March 2022. For details, please refer to the announcement on the ICCR’s website.
The entries of the competition will be evaluated by a distinguished Jury and 3 awards will be given in each category and theme having 3 age groups (total 54 awards).
