JOB POST: Medical Officers @ Government of Haryana; 241 Vacancies: Apply by July 17: Expired

This is for general information of all, that the Health Department advertised 662 posts of Medical Officers in HCMS (Group-A) Cadre on regular basis on 28.11.2016 and corrigendum issued on 06.01.2017 for which the closing date was 31.01.2017.

Now additional 241 posts in General category have been made available by borrowing from SC Category and in this way, the breakup of category wise vacancies will be General-185+241=426, SC-99, OBC-A-40, OBC-B-13, EBP (Economically Backward Persons in General Caste Category)-S0, Ex-Servicemen-34 Total 662 (this includes 53 posts which are horizontally reserved for persons with disability as per Haryana Government notification dated 15.07.2014).

Those who could not apply earlier may apply against these posts on or before 17.07.2017 and those who had applied earlier, need not apply again. For further details visit official web site

The details of interview schedule will be put on official website after the last date of receipt of applications. Official website may be accessed and no separate call letters will be sent for interview.

Those who do not have a complete MBBS degree and internship and are not registered with MCI and State Unit till 17.07.2017 will not be considered. Besides the conditions advertised earlier on 28.11.2016 and corrigendum dated 6.1.2017, available on the website also, the following conditions are included:

  • Maximum 60 days joining time is allowed to the selected candidates. No extension in joining time would be allowed. The unfilled vacancies would be filled from waiting list on merit basis.
  • The available vacancies relate to Districts of Ambala, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Jhajjar, Karnal, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sonepat, Sirsa, Mewat, palwal and Yamunanagar.
