About the Hackathon
“Don’t limit your challenges, Challenge your limits”.
Every year, we excel to ensure that every rivalry is sicker than the previous one. It isn’t an exaggeration to say that the planning takes more than 3/4th of the year.
Hack-o-fiesta is one such event organised by IIITL, that lasts for 36 hours starting from 16th April 2021 and the students participate in a team of 3-5 like-minded individuals to utilise new technologies and hack together tons of code from different sources to achieve their goal. Not only do programmers get the satisfaction of creating a useful product during the hackathon, but once the time runs out all participants come together and present their creations to a panel of judges who then give points based on the idea, execution and presentation.
This hackathon would focus on applications, especially with the presence of big-data while at the same time providing a basis for youth to come up with their own solutions to specific problems. Through a series of collaborative events, teams will utilise state and local data to generate ideas, design prototypes and/ or apps to increase transparency and efficiency for public engagement.
With over 500 students from 30+ technical colleges all over the world, it is a glorious stage for sharing tech-related products and services among some of the best technical minds across the world, all with a common goal – to advance our technology to the NEXT LEVEL.
With coverage from leading national newspapers to countless social media accounts, technical forums and blogs, it is a massive opportunity for interaction with some of the brightest young minds of our country and its impact is truly endless.
