Google invites applications for Kick Start Competition for the year 2021. The last date of registration is 23 May 2021.

Kick Start is an online coding competition that offers single rounds throughout the year. In each round, you write code to solve algorithmic problems that have multiple layers of difficulty. Each round starts fresh, so you can participate in one round, or all of them!

Participants can compete in one or all online rounds held throughout the year, and will have the opportunity to develop and grow their programming abilities while getting a glimpse into the technical skills needed for a career at Google (top participants may be invited to interview at Google).

The three-hour rounds feature a variety of algorithmic challenges, all developed by Google engineers so that you get a taste of the technical skills needed for a career at Google (the top competitors from our Kick Start rounds may be invited to interview at Google!). Our rounds are held regularly throughout the year at different times so they are easily accessible to coders everywhere.

Each Kick Start Round is open to all participants, no pre-qualification needed, so you can try your hand at one or give them all a shot.

Prizes

Money Prizes: Money prizes will be awarded in U.S. dollars and may be delivered in the form of cash, check, gift card, or other cash equivalents. You are responsible for any costs associated with currency exchange. Google may work with an authorized third party to convert money prizes into a local currency. You understand that Google has sole discretion to choose which currency exchange rate to apply in order to convert any money prize into a non-U.S. dollar currency.

Delivery: Google may either ship your non-monetary prize (e.g., a t-shirt) to you or request that you come to a Google office or a designated location to collect your prize. If Google informed you that it will ship your prize to you and you have not received your prize within six (6) months after the end of a Contest, please email the applicable Contest organizers at the email address specified on the applicable Contest website. Google will not award any prizes if notified beyond nine (9) months from the end of a Contest.
