Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a walk-in-interview for the post of Field Investigator in an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) funded project IITM/ICSSR/VD/317 at IIT Mandi.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is an autonomous engineering and technology university located in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. IIT Mandi’s permanent campus is fully functional at Kamand and Salgi Mandi. Timothy A. Gonsalves was the first Director of IIT Mandi and R. C. Sawhney served as the first Registrar.
Evaluation of Risk Perception, Fear, Social Distancing, Masks, and Treatments regarding COVID-19 in India. This project intends to investigate the people’s risk perception and fear of COVID and the authority as well as their attitudes regarding social distancing, masks, and treatments regarding COVID. This project aims to develop cognitive computational models of data collected about people’s preferences for treatments using theories concerning social and cognitive psychology in order to make the research outcomes useful and replicable.
- M.A./ Postgraduate in a social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- Experience in designing and conducting online surveys, statistical data analysis, and publications.
- Good command over the English language and technical writing skills in English is highly desirable.
Maximum up to INR 15,000 per month
