The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is organizing a Freel Webinar on Careers amid COVID-19 on June 5, 2020, from 6 PM onwards for interested students, faculties, and industry professionals.

The webinar will be hosted by Mr. Chaitanya Sreenivas who is the VP HR & HR Head, IBM India, and South Asia.

National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an initiative funded by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, and coordinated by IIT Madras and other IITs. The project’s central idea is to put recorded lectures taught by its member institutes online for open access. It is one of the most extensive educational YouTube channel covering engineering, basic sciences, and some humanities and social science subjects.

Highlights

The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought about drastic changes to the work environment. Hence, this webinar session will try to put in various career perspectives and also offer some options to the participants.

About the Host

The webinar will be hosted by Mr. Chaitanya N Sreenivas, who has been appointed the vice president and HR head for IBM India and South Asia. Prior to this role, Sreenivas was director, HR for IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) India and South Asia.

His roles and responsibilities entailed thought leadership, strategy, and support to the GTS Business Unit to help it grow and evolve into a mature center with Global Delivery Capabilities while also working on the larger India strategy.
