Youth Ki Awaaz (YKA) is an award-winning and India’s largest user-generated media platform for young people to talk about issues of importance – with over 75,000 writers and 3.5+ million monthly readers.

– hackathon for peace is a series of two-day hackathons where people from various backgrounds come together to brainstorm ideas and create a prototype that can effectively counter violent extremism.
The solutions can be in the form of storytelling, digital media campaign, poetry movement, an app, a bot, artificial intelligence, etc with a sole aim to effectively counter the violent extremism online. The teams pitch their idea to industry bodies, experts and policymakers to win $5000 grant to build their idea.
