The Centre for Science Education and Communication, Delhi University is organizing a short term workshop for the budding entrepreneurs with disruptive venture ideas aligning with the current needs of the society from July 10 to 14, 2017.
An entrepreneur is someone who organizes and operates a business, who invests in innovations and is willing to take on greater than normal risks in order to see his or her vision become a reality.
This Developing the analytical abilities and strategic competencies necessary for students who wish to become entrepreneurs or are already part of a growing business is the motive of this entrepreneurship course. Practical skills covered in this Entrepreneurship course include- identifying potential opportunities and markets, creating a business plan from scratch, having financial sustainability and scaling the business.
Creating a new scalable venture is a challenging and complex task. The road to entrepreneurial success is long, tiring, entangled and strewn with pitfalls, obstacles and blind alleys. With risk factors always soaring high, as illustrated by the high failure rates for new ventures.
However, as is always the case, the rewards,both financial and personal, are commensurate with the risk. This Entrepreneurship course is a short program, designed to help entrepreneurs grow their business. It is targeted at current university students studying business or other related fields.
The workshop is open to current University students who have a clear idea and shall be available on and after 10 July 2017.

Interested students may send their applications with an attached CV (not exceeding 2 pages) and a SOP (Statement of Purpose) mentioning details like What is their idea and how can this workshop help them restructure it and scale up their impact.
