Is there a relationship between ecological degradation and the pandemic?
Do you have questions on environmental crisis?
During this lock down we have come closer to nature more than ever before, we have realized that restricted human movements have played in favor of the flora and fauna around us. This has triggered many of us to realize the importance to preserve nature and increase our awareness on the harm we have been doing from past 100 years.
Here is an introductory short discussion with teen age children on the causes of the destruction of environment. With the help of true stories of the tribal areas of Nilgiri mountains, we will be discussing about the human interventions to nature which leads to the permanent destruction, loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, water resource depletion etc
Teenagers (aged 14-17) are invited for an online discussion through stories of Nilgiris by Alma, Sobha and Aditi (Nilgiri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (NPVTG) Federation on Aug 17, 18, 19, 4 PM to 5 PM.
