Course on Recent Advancements in Signal & Image Processing at IIT Indore [Mar 2-6]: Register by Feb 25

IIT Indore is organizing a short term Course on Recent Advancements in Signal & Image Processing from March 2 to 6, 2020. This short-term course is focused on recent advancements in the areas of signal and image processing.

It aims to cover topics ranging from key fundamental concepts to the recent research directions in these areas. In addition, the course will include detailed discussions on different areas of applications, including biomedical signal and image processing, biometric security, etc.

Course Content
  • Comprehensive coverage of key fundamental topics in signal and image processing through detailed discussions.
  • Lectures on biomedical signal and image processing
  • Introduction to biometrics security (fingerprint, face, iris, etc.)
  • Lectures on the development of biometric systems and attacks
  • Lectures on recent research directions in biometrics
  • Lectures on machine learning for signal and image processing
  • Hands-on sessions with Python/MATLAB.

Registration Fees
  • Faculty members from AICTE approved engineering colleges (QIP Category): Refundable Deposit Rs. 1000/-
  • Others (Non-QIP Category): Course Fee Rs. 3500/-

Participants from AICTE approved colleges will be paid 3 AC train fare for travel by the shortest route from the place of work to Indore and back. The maximum TA payable is Rs. 3000. They will be provided with free boarding and lodging on campus. Local QIP participants will be paid TA of Rs. 300 per day for 5 days.
