The Department of Electronics Engineering offers U.G., P.G. and Ph.D. Programmes. It offers M.Tech. in Communication Systems and Microelectronic and VLSI Design. The faculty of the department conducts research in wide areas such as biomedical signal processing, multidimensional systems, optical communication, Analog & Digital VLSI, Microwave Harvesting to name a few and is conducting a short term course on Matrix Inequalities and Applications fro July 22 to July 26, 2019.
Objectives of the Workshop
The objectives of the workshop are as follows:
- To touch upon the new areas of research employing matrix based modeling of systems
- Robust stability of discrete systems
- Perform stability analysis of uncertain systems
- To learn software tools for stability analysis
The participants of the workshop will be able to explore new areas of research.
They will also be able to utilize matrix inequality in the areas of signal processing, control, communications and more specifically in the following domains:
- Event-Triggered Control
- LMIs in Filtering
- Finite wordlength nonlinearities
- Controller Design
- Stability and control of dynamical systems
