Department of Biotechnology of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad is organizing a Self- financed Short Term Course on Food and health biotechnology solutions to life: An improved way to living (FHBS- 2019) during 4-10 July 2019.
About the course:
The short term course is being organized to discuss the role of food and health biotechnology for prevention of diseases as well as to nullify the toxic effects of environmental food and water pollutants.
Biotechnology in the field of health seeks to improve food to kill the microbial and fungal contaminants in food, increase the nutrient values of crops, reduce or eliminate the toxicants of water and soil for prevention of various diseases.
In this course, various foodborne diseases and their prevention by using biotechnology will be discussed. The number of seats is 50.
