Course on Emerging Nano Regime Devices & their Applications at NIT Mizoram [Feb 17-21]: Registrations Open
NIT Mizoram is conducting a short term Course on Emerging Nano Regime Devices & their Applications from February 17 to 21, 2020.
The aim of this course is to give a glimpse of the newest technologies in nanoscale device fabrication which are gradually becoming prevalent worldwide like MEMS devices, and low power devices, etc. Along with the discussion regarding new techniques, development in nanomaterials and accessories will also be highlighted.
Another important issue that is creeping in as nanomaterial is becoming more widespread is the health hazards from toxic nature. This issue will also be elaborately discussed to make the audience aware of the harmful effects of nanodevice fabrication and methods to circumvent this problem. Experimental sessions will be held to give an idea about the simulation of nanodevice devices and their applications.
Short Term Course (STC ) is split into three parts:
- Hands-On Experiments.
- MCQ based Examination.
Theoretical Assessment will be MCQ based questionnaire and Grade Sheets will be provided accordingly. Certificate with Grades will be given by NIT Mizoram to the participants subject to fulfillment of attending all sessions and clearing the test(s).

Program is open to Faculty Members, Research Scholars, PG & UG Students, Lab Technicians and Project Staffs from Universities, Colleges & Schools. Industry personnel working in the concerned/allied discipline may also apply.
- For Students: Rs. 1000/-
- for Faculty, Lab Technicians and Project Staff: Rs. 2500/-
- For Industry Personnel: Rs. 3500/-
