The Department of Civil Engineering, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal is organizing an International Conference on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development from February 13 to 14, 2021.

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, formerly known as Maulana Azad College of Technology (MACT), Bhopal, was established in the year 1960 and subsequently upgraded to National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2002. The Civil Engineering Department is one of the oldest departments of the institute and was established in 1962. The initial journey was started with the UG program in Civil Engineering followed by M. Tech programs in seven specializations. The department also offers Ph.D. programs in different frontier areas of civil engineering research.

Conference Objectives

The conference is aimed at bringing together the designers, researchers, and practicing engineers working in the field of various specialization of civil engineering to foster and promote the exchange of ideas on the recent advances in the field of civil engineering for sustainable development.

The exchange of ideas is expected to enhance the state of art on the subject. The conference will be beneficial to field engineers, research scholars, and academicians. Due to COVID 19, the conference will be held in online mode in a digital platform, which will be informed to individuals.

Themes

The international conference on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development (RACESD-2021) scheduled during Feb.13-14, 2021 focuses on a wide range of issues of Civil Engineering to enhance the knowledge-base, increase awareness, explore new ideas and thinking.

The technical sessions will consist of plenary and keynote lectures, in which both the leading experts and young researchers will present state-of-the-art reviews of rapidly-developing and exciting areas, report the latest significant findings and developments in all the major fields of Civil Engineering as follows:

  • Water Resources Engineering
  • Transportation Planning and Traffic Management, Pavements, ITS
  • Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering
  • Use of Geospatial (RS, GIS, GPS) and AI Technologies
  • Impact of Climate Change
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Construction Engineering and Management
  • Structural and Earthquake Engineering

The Organizing Committee invites academicians, engineers, architects, researchers, and developers to present paper(s) and/ or participate in the conference.

Call for Papers

Prospective authors from the construction industry, researchers from scientific establishments, and educational institutes are invited to submit the abstract and full-length original, previously unpublished manuscript (not exceeding 10 pages including figures, tables, graphs, and references) by e-mail to Email: racesdmanit2021@gmail.com.

They strongly encourage the submission of paper electronically in MS Word Format. Abstract with maximum 200 words in times new roman format of 12 font-size containing the paper title of 16 font-size with authors name and affiliation 12 font size should be submitted in conference mail.
