CfP: Conference on Bacteriophage Research and Antimicrobial Resistance at VIT, Vellore [Dec 12-13]: Submit by Oct 15: Expired

About ICBRAMR

ICBRAMR ’19 organized by the School of Biosciences and Technology, VIT, Vellore aims to bring together Indian and International communities (scientists, students and postdocs) from academia, national laboratories, industries and other organizations working in the field of antimicrobial resistance and phage therapy.

The conference covers broad research theme in the area to accommodate wide range of participants to facilitate collaborations (both national and international). Interest in the applications of bacteriophages for the treatment of multidrug resistance pathogens is on the rise and this conference will be a right platform to bring in experts and researchers across the globe to discuss the current and future prospects of phage therapy in India. Many senior experts, researchers, will be delivering special lectures, invited talks, presentations and posters at ICBRAMR ‘19.

About the Organizer

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) was founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by the Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan. VIT attracts students from all the states of India and more than 53+ countries because of its academic excellence.

Call for Abstracts

Submission Details

Abstracts not exceeding 300 words are invited for poster presentation. One page abstract should be typed in 11 point, Times New Roman, normal font with 1.15 spacing. Size of the poster should be length x width (3 x 4′).

Abstracts should be prepared based on the template available on the website. Abstracts should be submitted online.

Awards

Best posters presented in the conference will be awarded a prize, a shield and certificate of appreciation from the society.

Young Scientist Award (one) shall be given to encourage and support young researchers working on phage research and therapy.

Criteria: Applicant for the Young scientist award should send a complete article (Word Limit is 3000) by November 20,2019 to vinodmicro@gmail.com.

Age of the applicant should be less than 40 years as on the date of the conference.
