Chailogue 66 – Community Event ‘The Wrong Woman’ by Hank Nunn Institute [Apr 24; 5:30 PM]: Register Now

The Hank Nunn Institute, a community mental health centre, is organizing a community event called Chailogue 66 on ‘The Wrong Woman’. The online event is scheduled to be held on 24th April.

About the Event

The HNI believes in striking a dialogue in the society on issues that affect the sociological and psychological well-being in the communities we live in.

It is a tale as old as time: there is always a “kind of woman” to strive to be. The narratives of the ideal woman may have shifted somewhat from being soft, nurturing, homely beings to woke, supportive, achievement-oriented, and family-balancing gymnasts. In all this talk, many permutations and combinations of the wrong kind of woman have mushroomed. Qualities, roles, responsibilities, biology: any of these can be used as markers to single us out.

This Chai-logue, HNI is opening the conversation for everyone to come and share their perceptions and struggles to be seen as a right woman, and how has an unattainable ideal made us feel like we are the wrong women.
