About the University
Bharathidasan University named after the Tamil poet Bharathidasan, was established in the year 1982. The University has a number of academic departments with an excellent research base. The University has been adjudged as one of the most reputed University in the country and is accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institution continues to make rapid studies in various fields of higher education and research.
About the Seminar
This seminar focusses on the environmental challenges created due to natural and anthropogenic activities along with the possible solutions. It includes lead lectures from eminent Professors with sound knowledge regarding the challenging environmental issues. The dais will promote a good discussion regarding the issues and the solutions. The theme of the seminar would kindle the young minds to come out with different ideas to ensure sustainable earth.
