About the organizer:

Indian Economic Association (IEA) is a registered body of Indian Economic Professionals, established way back in 1917, with the objective of providing a forum for debate and discussion of theoretical and policy oriented issues of Economic Science. policy oriented issues of Economic Science.

School of Economics at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a vibrant school under Faculty of Management and is successfully running Five Year Integrated M.Sc. Economics besides Ph.D. Programme. The School has planned to organize seminars, conferences, workshops, special lectures and other academic programmes on issues of national and international relevance and importance on regular basis.

About the Conference:

Through this Conference, various issues concerning Economics growth and structural changes shall be raised and it would hopefully arrive at a prudent and logical conclusion which policy makers could use as guiding principles at various levels of planning and decision making.

The themes and sub themes of the roposed Seminar include, but not limited to the following:

  3. Economic Growth and Industrial Sector
  4. Economic Growth and Rural Development
  5. Any other related topic

Research Scholar: Rs. 500 (Indians) $100 (others)

Submission of Full Paper: 5th February, 2018
Confirmation of Acceptance: 8th February, 2018
Last date of registration 15th February 2018
Conference Dates: 23-24 February, 2018

Paper Submission:

The electronic version of the paper should be e-mailed to: iea.smvdu@gmail.com and acceptance of the paper imply that at least one of the authors will attend the Seminar and present the paper. Papers must include a clear indication of the purpose of the research, methodology, major results, implications and key references.
