About the Programme
Central University of Rajasthan invites applications for Post-Graduate Degree in Digital Society. This is a programme which is being supported by the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore)
Why this Programme?
The Course is specially designed to prepare the students to have a firm foundation on analytical linkages between the Social Sciences and advance technological frontiers of information technologies which are in high demands for the industry, non-governmental organization, corporate houses, and consultancy firms.
The course structure contains an intelligent blending of diverse fields of social sciences, like public policy, political science, sociology, computer sciences, data analytics, statistics, etc.
CURAJ is now becoming the first Public University in India to begin digital society programme (Two Years M.Sc) with IIIT-B.

Course Structure

The Two Years Masters programme in Digital Society will consist of Four Semesters and students seeking Master’s Degree have to earn required credits from a total of 84 credits in the course of two years. The followings will be the pedagogy:

  • A two weeks preparatory programme (Remedial Training) on Introduction to Digital Society.
  • Core Courses and Electives.
  • ICT-Lab based learning in first three Semester of the Programme
  • Project-based learning.
  • Dissertation and Internship.
Who can apply?

This PG Programme is open to candidates with a Graduate degree (Three Years) from recognized University possessing a minimum of 55% marks in any of the following areas: Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Commerce and Management, Computer Sciences, and Engineering. Computer knowledge is an added advantage but the mandatory.

The Admission to this course is through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2019).

The Entrance Test will be MCQ type with 100 questions.
