About the Meeting
The Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) Winter Meeting 2019 on Amyloids: In Disease to Promising Material is organised by IIT Kanpur from Dec 6-8, 2019. The focus of this meeting is to bring amyloid researchers of India together to share their research in the areas of amyloid disease diagnosis, mechanism of amyloid formation, drug discovery and using amyloid for material design. Participants will get exposure to techniques and cutting-edge research through lectures and discussions. Researchers will get an opportunity to discuss future goals of amyloid research in India, developing a platform for collaboration, exchange of students and sharing infrastructure among their labs.
This meeting will serve as a unique opportunity where both basic and clinical researchers will come together to brainstorm the possible ways to investigate and handle amyloid diseases in India. The meeting will also discuss the strategies for making guidelines for amyloid diagnosis and evaluation of amyloid disease spreading by amyloid materials.
