Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for temporary position of Research Associate (RA) in a time bound research project under the guidance of Prof. Siddhartha Roy, DST-J.C. Bose Fellow and Co-guidance of Prof. Gautam Basu, Department of Biophysics.

Project Title

Next generation advanced therapies for fight β-hemoglobinopathies via rational intervention in Υ-globin regulator network.

The project is tenable upto 23.06.2023.

Essential Qualification

Ph.D. in a relevant field of physical or life sciences.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in the field of peptide synthesis and protein purification.

Research Experience

Experience in working in X-ray crystallography, Cryo-electron microscopy or spectroscopy focused on structural biology.

Associateship

Rs. 47,000/- p.m. plus 24% HRA.

Age

Below 40 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules).
