Registrations are invited for AWS Young Builders Challenge 2021 for Class 6-12 students by CBSE. The last date of registration is 15 November.

About AWS Young Builders Challenge

AWS Young Builders Challenge is an initiative by AWS, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Education- Innovation Cell (Govt. of India), Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to promote and foster a scientific temper, computational and design thinking, coding skills in young minds. This collaborative effort aims to infuse the basic understanding of disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing and their impact on the future of India.

This collaborative effort aims to infuse the basic understanding of disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing and their impact on the future of the country. 

Eligibility

Open to all schools across India. Participating students from the respective schools should be from class 6th- class 12th.

Phases

The challenge will have three phases:

  • Learn – Students to get exposure to concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Computing via self-learning modules.
  • Build – Students to build projects using interactive tools
  • Showcase – Top projects to be featured in a national virtual showcase ceremony.

Challenge Process

  • Step 1: School Registration:
    Authorized teacher from the school to register the school for the event.
    Vertify the registered email address to receive details on the Learn and Build phase.
  • Step 2: Learn:
    Share the self-learning modules with students as part of the Learn phase.
  • Step 3 : Build:
    Encourage students to build projects and collect all submissions from students.
    Evaluate the student submissions as per the evaluation rubrics that will be shared.
  • Step 4 : Final Submission:
    Submit the student projects with the project links in the form of an Excel sheet on the Challenge website via the submission form.
    Make sure to highlight the top 2 projects as per your evaluation.
  • Step 5 : Showcase:
    Await the final results.
    Get a chance to be featured in the national virtual showcase ceremony.

Submission

Submit the creative projects build by your students and get a chance to win exciting prizes. The TOP 10 selected projects nationally will be invited to present their projects in the virtual live showcase ceremony. 

Based on the participation from each school, you make track your rank on the live leader board page. Top 3 schools with maximum participation will also be facilitated in the showcase ceremony virtually.

There is no fee for participating in this Challenge.
