IEEE Amrita School of Engineering’s Technical Fest “Rase” [Bangalore, Feb 16-18]: Registrations Open

RASE’18 is the technical fest of IEEE Amrita College of Engineering. It aims at creating a platform of healthy competition for robot geeks across the nation and is undeniably a great opportunity to hone one’s robot designing skills and test the same on an appreciable scale. With a vision of promoting Science and Technology, the competition is crafted with edifying competitions pertaining to the real world scenario.


  • LiFo
    The task will be to drive through the track while following a black line and tackling the surprise challenges on the arena which will be disclosed on the day of the competition. The quickest and most intelligent robot will be declared the winner.

  • Death Race
    Design a wired/wireless manually controlled robot which should be able to travel on both land and in water to survive its way out crossing a hostile battle ground. The robot that traverses all the hurdles and accomplishes the mission in minimum amount of time is declared as the ‘Death Race Champion’.

  • Robo Soccer
    In Robosoccer challenge, three manually controlled robots will compete against each other in an arena which resembles an actual soccer field.
    The robot should be wirelessly controlled. The teams should have two frequency channel to avoid signal interference with other teams. The robot should have been fabricated, assembled by the team. Readymade robots are not allowed.

  • Robo Wars
    Design a wired/wireless manually controlled machine that is capable of either defeating its opponent on its own or pushing its opponent out of the arena.

  • Maze Runner
    A robot is placed in the far corner of a large, randomly drawn maze consisting of approx 20cm square segments. The goal is to reach the center of the maze in the fastest time possible, across several attempts.
