Regional Occupational Health Centre (Sourthern), Bengaluru is a permanent Centre under ICMR – National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. Regional Occupational Health Centre (Southern) Bengaluru, instituted in 1977, since inception has been engaged in occupational health research addressing issues of the Southern states – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

Topics to be covered under NPMRI
Health Effect of Noise Exposure- Auditory & Non-Auditory, Noise and its Physics, Noise Control Strategies, Acoustics of Room, Partitions, Enclosure and Barriers, Approaches to Noise-Exposure Surveys, Noise Regulation Standard, Noise Exposure-Case Study, Safety Aspect and PPE Selection for Noise Control strategies.
Who can Apply
Scientist-B, Scientific Assistant & Technicians or equivalent in Government Sector, academic institutes or environmental scientists, industrial hygienists and chemists in industries.
How to Apply
The training fees should be sent to the Officer-in-Charge, ROHC(S), Bangalore in the form of DD favouring “The Officer-in-Charge, ROHC(S)” payable at Bangalore along with nomination letter.
CPCB Nominated participants (for each training): No fee
Payee participants: The course fee is Rs. 22,000/- for CAAQM and Rs. 17,000/- for NPMRI)
