AICTE Sponsored Workshop on Smart Robots at IIIT Pune [Dec 7]: Register by Nov 15

Recent advances in mechatronics and artificial intelligence promise smart autonomous robots for building a smarter world, through the efficient and safer realization of complex tasks. This workshop aims at integrating the ideas in advanced and recent technologies in the related areas of robotics, the major real-time challenges and the applications of smart robots in diverse domains.

This workshop is aimed at empowering the faculties and research scholars in the thrust areas in robotics. The course has been structured in such a manner to equip the participants with the necessary skills to apply the tools and techniques to solve the research problems in the area of robotics.

  • Multi-robot systems
  • Game theory and its applications in robotics
  • Introduction to drones
  • Intelligent control of robotic systems
  • Bio-inspired algorithms in Robot path planning

Speakers are faculties from IIIT Pune and other MHRD institutions and industry experts working in the relevant areas.

Target Audience

Faculties & Ph.D. Scholars from AICTE approved technical institutions. The names of the selected candidates will be uploaded on the institute website on 16 Nov 2019.


There is no registration fee for any participant. The participants can register through themselves by clicking here. The deadline for registration is 15 Nov 2019. No TA/ DA will be paid to any participant. The participation certificates will be awarded by the ATAL academy on completion of the five days programme.

The accommodation will be provided to the participants in the institute hostel on a first come first serve basis. The room charges will be INR 200/day.
