1. ADB- Japan Scholarship Program 2022

The Asian Development Bank–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB–JSP) was established in April 1988 with financing from the Government of Japan.

It aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake graduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.

  • Eligibility: The program is open to nationals of an ADB borrowing member country who have gained admission to an approved master’s A course at a designated institution. Candidates should not be more than 35 years old, be in good health, with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with superior academic record. The candidate should agree to return to his/her home country after completion of studies under the Program in order to contribute to its development.
  • Covers: The ADB–JSP provides
    • full tuition fees
    • a monthly subsistence and housing allowance
    • an allowance for books and instructional materials
    • medical insurance
    • travel expenses

2. Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2022 for Masters Study at the UK

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are for candidates from least developed, low, and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries, for part-time Master’s study by distance learning on selected courses offered by UK universities. These scholarships are funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, candidates should:
    • Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
    • Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country
    • Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.
    • Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship.
  • Application: You must apply to study an eligible master’s course at a UK university that is participating in the Distance Learning scheme. Click here for a list of participating universities and eligible courses.

3. Ministry of Education Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) 2022-23

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Ministry of Education Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) 2022-23.

To encourage South Asian students/applicants to undertake Mandarin courses in Taiwan; in order to provide them with opportunities to increase their understanding of Taiwanese culture and society, and to promote mutual understanding and interactions between Taiwan and the international community.

  • Eligibility: Applicants above the age of 18, who possess a high school diploma or above, have shown excellent academic performance, and are of good moral character are eligible.
  • Duration: The duration of the scholarship is from September 1st to August 31st of the following year. If recipients fail to come to Taiwan for enrollment during the designated time, they will forfeit their right to retain their scholarships.
  • Awards: A monthly stipend of 25,000 NTD. (Approximate Rs. 65,116)

4. Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships 2022-23

Inlaks Scholarships provide the opportunity to young people with exceptional talent in most fields to broaden their vision abroad and improve their skills to operate in society, thus making them a future vehicle of change in their environment.

  • Eligibility:
    • Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarships are open to all Indian citizens who have been continuously resident in India at least six months prior to the time of application.
    • Candidates who are Indian citizens and hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution abroad that meets our academic standards must have resided continuously, been employed, or have been studying in India for at least two years prior to the time of application.
    • Candidates having a postgraduate qualification (e.g. Master’s or PhD) from an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
  • Funding: The maximum funding given by the Foundation is USD 100,000. If the total funding required to complete the proposed course of study exceeds this amount, at the time of application candidates must show evidence that they have been selected to a joint Inlaks scholarship institution or that they can cover the additional costs on their own.

5. K. C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad 2022

The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust is pleased to announce the K. C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad for 2022.

  • Eligibility:
    • Applicants must possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognized University.
    • Applicants must be Indian candidates who have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from August 2022, but not later than February 2023.
  • Funding: The maximum amount for the scholarship will be Rs. 4 lakhs per scholar except for the 3 K. C. Mahindra Fellow Scholarships for which the maximum amount will be Rs. 8 lakhs per scholar.

6. Charpak Master’s Scholarship 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the fully funded Charpak Master’s Scholarship 2022 in France.

  • Eligibility: The applicant must:
    • be an Indian national and reside in India
    • be 30 years old maximum at the time of application
    • be a student currently enrolled/have studied at an Indian Institution of higher learning or a young professional employed in a company for a maximum of 3 years at the time of application.
  • Benefits: Monthly living allowance of 700 euros. Tuition fee waiver upto 5000 euros
  • Application: The students must submit their application on the online scholarship portal

7. Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme 2022-23

The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment, primarily within the AKDN. 

  • Eligibility:
    • The Foundation accepts applications from nationals of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar and Mozambique. 
    • Preference is given to students under 30 years of age.
  • Funding: The Foundation assists students with tuition fees and living expenses only.  The cost of travel is not included in AKF scholarships. 
  • Application: The application procedures of AKF’s International Scholarship Programme are decentralised.  Students may obtain application forms as of 1st  January each year from AKF offices or Aga Khan Education Services / Boards in their countries of current residence. 
  • Deadline for submitting completed applications: 21st March, 2022 (5:00 pm IST)

8. Ban Ki-Moon Scholarship 2022 at MCI Management Center, Austria

Supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a joint mission of the 8th UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School.

This scholarship under the patronage of Excellency Ban Ki-moon allows students engaged in the SDGs to study and develop at a prestigious university in Europe.

  • Eligibility:
    • For all masters’ programs: Nationals of Non-EU countries
    • For all Executive masters’ programs: All nationals
    • Students who have been engaged and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aim to further engage with and promote these goals during their studies.
    • Available for freshers  who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee.
  • Amount: A one-off scholarship of up to 10,000 EUR to cover (part of) the current annual tuition fee.

9. JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship for Higher Education

The J. N. Tata Endowment awards a one-time loan scholarship to Indians at the beginning of an academic year for full time Postgraduate/Ph.D./Postdoctoral/Research fellowships studies abroad, in all fields, irrespective of caste, creed, gender or community.

  • Eligibility: Candidates should be Indians, not older than 45 years as on June 30, 2022, and graduates of a recognised Indian University with at least 60% marks on average in their undergraduate or post-graduate studies. If the undergraduate degree is not from a recognised University in India, candidates are not eligible to apply.
  • Amount: The selected scholars may also be recommended for a partial travel assistance (a maximum of Rs. 50,000/-) and gift award from our allied Trusts as may be decided at the sole discretion of the Trustees of the concerned Trusts.
  • Deadline: The last date for submission of the completed application form is Monday, 28th March 2022 till 12.00 p.m. (noon).

10. Jean-Claude Juncker Scholarships 2022 at MCI Management Centre, Austria

This scholarship under the patronage of Excellency Jean-Claude Juncker allows students engaged in the ideas, principles, values and future of the European Union as well as the economic, technological and social development of the European continent, to pursue their studies at a prestigious European university.

  • Eligibility: For all masters’ programs: Nationals of Non-EU countries. For all Executive masters’ programs: All nationals.
  • Amount: A one-off scholarship of up to 10,000 EUR to cover (part of) the current annual tuition fee

11. Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) 2022-23 at Tilburg University, Netherlands

The Orange Tulip Scholarship program (OTS) gives talented students in India the opportunity to study in the Netherlands with a partial tuition fee waiver. Tilburg University offers four of these scholarships.

  • Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following basic criteria to apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship India:
    • You must have Indian nationality;
    • You have a degree from a non-Dutch university;
    • You must have excellent study results in your Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree program. As an indication, you must have graduated (or can prove that you are going to graduate) with an average result of at least 80% or must be among the 10% of your class;
    • You must currently be undergoing the admission process or be already admitted to a one-year Master’s program at Tilburg University (see eligible Master’s programs);
  • Amount: The scholarship beneficiaries receive a partial tuition fee waiver and will pay a tuition fee of € 4,450.  
  • Application: Applicants must apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship (India) via NESO India by April 1, 2022.
