About the conference

In general, the antibiotic crisis has been attributed to not only the extensive and inappropriate usage of antibiotics but also to a drastic decline in the development of new antibiotics. A thorough knowledge in emergence and spread of drug resistant isolates will provide potential strategies to curtail the emergence of multi drug resistance.

Owing to its complexity in resistance development and treatment failures, recently much investigation was developed on the emergence and spread of the resistant genes, however research in combating resistant bacteria is in its infancy.

This conference has been made to present the latest research to navigate the possibilities to address this question. This scientific gathering will provide some potential strategies to curtail the emergence of antimicrobial resistance

Call for papers

The Main topics to be covered, but not limited to are:

  1. Resistance phenotypes and surveillance.
  2. Evolution of E.coli in deep stationary phase via regulatory mutations
  3. Antibacterial Tolerance in Bacterial Population
  4. Alternative approaches to tackle drug resistant strains
  5. Development of rational drug combination targeting oxidative phosphorylation in Mycobacterium tuberculosis
  6. Translational medical research

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts should present new research or developing information on antimicrobial resistance and related field. Abstracts are selected on the basis of their scientific significance, timeliness, quality of data and methodology, adherence to specific format requirements, and other criteria described herein.

The Scientific Program Committee and external reviewers will review and score submissions, after which the disposition of each abstract will be sent via e-mail to the presenting author and corresponding author, listed on the abstract submission form.

Poster guidelines

The poster boards are 3.2 feet (38.4 inches) by 3.2 feet (38.4 inches) long landscape orientation. The useable area of the poster board is 3.1 feet (37.2 inches) by 3.1 feet (37.2 inches) and is the maximum recommended size for the poster boards. Font size should maintain appropriately so poster can be seen at a minimum of 10 feet away. Push pins will be provided for your poster. The displays are also allowed minimum A3 sheets size.
